A festive community day at Tynemouth Priory and Castle with live music, entertainment, food stalls and family activities.
Tynemouth Priory and Castle hosts a festive community day open to everyone, running from 11am to 4pm. The programme includes live entertainment from local choirs, a samba band, a Highland bagpiper and line dancing with audience participation, plus face painting from Jigsaw Entertainment. Food and drink is available from a range of street vendors, and Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade will be on site with hands-on activities and water safety advice. Entry is free for English Heritage members and residents of nearby postcodes.
