’built from here’ Art exhibition opening preview

Opening preview of the Built from Here exhibition, launching the first Durning Gallery Prize with three selected artists at Durning Library.

Built from Here is the launch preview of the first Durning Gallery Prize, a new collaboration between Durning Library and City & Guilds of London Art School. The exhibition brings together work by the three selected artists: Julie Arantes, whose pieces focus on quiet domestic spaces and everyday objects; Anastasiia Kyrpenko, whose paintings explore memory and displacement through intimate domestic moments; and Roisin Bunting, who creates painted wooden constructions that bring sculptural experience into dialogue with looking. The two-hour preview invites visitors to consider how our surroundings shape the ways we see and make sense of the world, and the connections between art, community and everyday life.
