Ugly

London-based sextet Ugly play Norwich Arts Centre with support from Max and Felix, fusing choral harmonies, post-rock and folk-rock.

Ugly, a six-piece band formed in Cambridge and now based in London, blend sacred choral harmonies, sprawling post-rock and the melodic warmth of 1960s and 1970s folk-rock into a distinctive, evolving sound. Their songwriting embraces contrast and the rejection of convention, aiming to reflect all six members' distinct voices. Support comes from Max and Felix, who open the evening from 8pm, with Ugly on stage from 9pm.
