Christmas Tree Festival
About
St Mary's Collegiate Church hosts its annual Christmas Tree Festival, a ten-day display of decorated trees and wreaths with choirs, brass bands and family activities.
The annual festival fills St Mary's Collegiate Church with a display of trees and wreaths decorated by local businesses, charities and schools. It runs from Friday 20th to Sunday 29th November, with musical entertainment from choirs and brass bands, visits from the mayor, and Mr and Mrs Claus with their alpacas on Saturday 28th November. A Pop-Up Café is open every day except the Victorian Evening, when mulled wine and mince pies are available instead. Entry is £2 per adult and free for those aged 16 and under, with free entry for everyone on 23rd–25th November and on the morning of 26th November.
