About
A session providing essential advocacy skills for carers to help them communicate effectively with health and social care providers.
This workshop focuses on helping carers understand their rights and how to communicate effectively with health and social care providers. Participants will learn key things to consider when advocating for themselves or a loved one, including how to use laws and policies to build constructive arguments. The session will also cover how strengthening these skills can bring financial benefits and will feature real anonymised case studies shared by an Independent Advocate.
