About

After Dracula is attacked at his castle, he targets the family of his attacker’s fiancée; Van Helsing sets out to stop him.

Jonathan Harker attacks Dracula at the vampire's castle, prompting Dracula to travel to a nearby city. There he preys on Harker's fiancée's family, while Dr Van Helsing, Harker's friend and fellow student of vampires, works to destroy him.

At Tyneside Cinema, the 18 and 29 October 2026 screenings are advertised as a 4K restoration incorporating recovered footage from the 1958 Japanese theatrical release. Both screenings include a recorded introduction by John Gore.
