Hathersage (Christmas Special)

A festive Freshwalks circular hike from Hathersage over Millstone Edge and along the River Derwent, ending with a Christmas lunch at The George.

Freshwalks hosts a winter circular hike of 10.8km from Hathersage, graded medium with 268m of ascent. The route climbs to Millstone Edge, follows the Derwent Valley Heritage Way through riverside woodland and returns to the village, with a festive lunch at The George afterwards. The six-hour event is open to everyone, including solo walkers, and doubles as outdoor networking, though it is dog-free.
