About
The Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Youth Choir performs Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, composed in 1888. Unlike many settings of the Mass for the Dead, Fauré's work emphasises peace and hope rather than judgement, featuring lyrical passages such as Pie Jesu and In Paradisum. The service lasts one hour and all are welcome to attend.
