Bonfire Bike Train to Lewes 2026

A free, gently paced mass cycle ride with music from The Level in Brighton to Lewes Bonfire night via the University of Sussex, run by Brighton Bike Hub.

Brighton Bike Hub organises this annual group ride from The Level to Lewes's famous bonfire celebrations, picking up riders en route at Moulsecoomb Library and the University of Sussex. Riders assemble from 5.30pm for a 6pm departure, with experienced marshals accompanying the group at a gentle pace. Informal return rides leave from Lewes Prison at 11pm and midnight; participants need a roadworthy bike with lights, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
