New Voices: Andrew Waite

Accordionist Andrew Waite performs 'Tunes From the Subconscious' with a full band at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as part of Celtic Connections 2027.

Andrew Waite presents 'Tunes From the Subconscious', a genre-blending accordion programme reimagined for a full ensemble. Drawing on Scottish and Irish traditional roots alongside jazz harmony, American bluegrass, classical and pop-funk influences, his original material is arranged for a band featuring strings, drums, guitar, banjo and piano. This 1pm show is part of the Celtic Connections festival and marks Waite's first time expanding ideas cultivated over 15 years of touring into a full band setting.
