About
Composer and pianist Poppy Ackroyd performs music from her album Liminal.
Poppy Ackroyd is a composer and pianist known for finding extraordinary textures in acoustic instruments. Her live performances centre on the interplay between piano and violin, featuring intricate rhythms and delicate melodies. Her latest album, Liminal, focuses on these two instruments, with every sound created from piano and violin alone. The music moves between quiet, reflective passages and more expansive, emotionally charged moments.
