Training on Sex Workers Counselling Needs

A 3-hour in-person training session for therapists and counsellors on how to support sex worker clients effectively.

This three-hour session, followed by a 30-minute Q&A, is aimed at professionals offering therapy and counselling who work with sex worker clients. It covers topics including sex work and the law, dignity of risk, safeguarding and spotting abuse, making practice accessible and building trust with the community, plus resources and how to advertise services. The training is hosted by Jack Parker (he/they), a transmasculine peer support worker with lived experience of sex work.
