Dried Flower Witch’s Broom Workshop

A Samhain-themed creative workshop where participants make a witch's broom from dried flowers and gathered materials, ending with an optional burning release ceremony.

Led by local artist Lucie Maycock, this two-hour workshop marks Samhain (Halloween) with participants creating their own broom using dried flowers, herbs and other gathered materials. The session explores the end of the harvest season and folklore traditions around the thinning of the veil between the living and the spirit world, with an optional deeper dive into the wheel of the year cycles. It closes with an optional burning release ceremony, and tea, coffee and herbal tea are provided while guests may bring their own drinks. Under-14s must attend with a parent or legal guardian.
