Ware Museum at 40: Stories of People and Place Part 2

A special exhibition marking Ware Museum's 40th anniversary, exploring its history, volunteers and objects from 2006 to 2026.

The second of two exhibitions marking Ware Museum's 40th anniversary, covering 2006–2026. It looks back at the museum's development over the past two decades, including the 2012 arrival of the Great Bed of Ware on loan from the Victoria and Albert Museum. Objects connected to the Ware Abstinence Society, the Women's Land Army and local shops appear alongside personal possessions telling stories of the town and the volunteers who shaped the museum.
