Founder's Day Celebration | A Boogie with Linnaeus

Annika Windahl Pontén explores music and dance in the Linnaeus family, followed by a participatory historical dance workshop.

Travel diaries and family music collections provide the starting point for a talk about eighteenth-century dances. Visitors can then try accessible examples in a workshop; eighteenth-century attire is welcomed. The source names Annika Windahl Pontén as the current speaker, without billing her historical dance group as a performer.
