Experienced recreational sailing

A supervised Sunday recreational dinghy-sailing session for proficient sailors on the tidal Thames.

Experienced youth and adults share the published Sunday 10:00–13:00 programme, which the official youth page explicitly offers all year round. Participants need RYA Stage 3/Level 2 or equivalent ability; adults unfamiliar with this tidal river must first complete a familiarisation session. Sessions are supervised by a safety boat and an RYA Senior Instructor, who is not named. Pre-booking is required and opens up to seven days ahead. From November to March a 5mm winter wetsuit or drysuit is required; limited clothing hire is £5, separate from unknown admission. The recurrence represents the published standing programme, with individual availability and exceptions unknown.
