Flecky Bennett's The Stockport Air Raid Shelter Experience Christmas 2026
About
Flecky Bennett leads a 75-minute spooky guided tour through two miles of Stockport's WWII air raid shelter tunnels, with ghost stories and dark humour.
Flecky Bennett's award-winning guided experience takes visitors through the full two-mile network of abandoned Second World War air raid tunnels beneath Stockport old town. The 75-minute walk covers the sleeping quarters, secret chambers and the Tunnel of Love, ending in the haunted area beneath a graveyard, with stories drawn from documented accounts, witness statements and Flecky's own experiences. The event is strictly adults only (18+), requires stout footwear, and is unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
