This guided tour of Edes House begins in the foyer with an overview of life in late Stuart England and the development of Chichester, before moving outside to examine the house's architectural features. Inside, the timeline of the house's owners is woven with stories, poetry and anecdotes drawn from its art, photos, furniture and decorative features. The tour also covers the house's role with West Sussex County Council, county heraldry and civic roles, and concludes with rarely seen images lost to America in the late 1930s. The tour lasts 90 minutes, with welcome refreshments from 1:30pm.
