Trans Writes: Creative Writing Group

An in-person creative writing group for trans and non-binary adults at Glasgow Zine Library, exploring trans identity through readings, exercises and free writing.

Trans Writes is a creative writing group for trans and non-binary people aged 18 and over, welcoming writers of all levels including complete beginners. Each session opens with a short reading or hands-on activity — such as extracts from trans writers, zines from the library, or DIY writing exercises — followed by free writing time and optional sharing. The group offers a space to explore trans identity and creative expression, with a maximum of 15 attendees, comfort breaks and a safer spaces policy in place.
