About
A monthly French-language reading group at Topping & Company York discussing Constance Debré's Love Me Tender.
A new monthly French-language reading group meeting in the York bookshop after closing, led by a native French bookseller. Participants read the chosen novel in French and discuss it in French; the October session covers Constance Debré's Love Me Tender, a story of defiance, freedom and the sacrifices asked of mothers. Anyone comfortable reading and speaking French is welcome, though seats are limited.
