London Scandi Session led by Chris Dyer

A free traditional folk music session with tunes from Sweden, Norway and Denmark, led by fiddler and nyckelharpa player Chris Dyer aboard the Theatreship.

Chris Dyer, a fiddler and nyckelharpa player who performs with Swedish spelmanslags and leads sessions at UK folk festivals, hosts an informal Scandinavian folk music session. Musicians and listeners are welcome to join in with tunes from Sweden, Norway and Denmark, and participants are encouraged to bring an instrument. The ship's bar opens at 2pm for drinks; the three-hour session runs to 5pm. Note the historic vessel has no step-free access to the theatre space, though staff assist with stairs.
