BArts' Forum Film Classics presents a screening of the 1995 film adaptation of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, directed with a screenplay by Emma Thompson, who won an Academy Award for it. The film follows Austen's perceptive novel about middle-class English society, where status and convention outweigh sincerity and genuine affection. The screening lasts 2 hours 16 minutes and stars Kate Winslet, Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Imelda Staunton and Alan Rickman.
