About

Medievalist Jakub Adamski examines a reused parchment drawing that may connect Prague’s cathedral workshop to a proposed tomb design in Avignon.

The lecture interprets a parchment sheet reused in a 1635 book from a potters’ guild in Kłodzko. Professor Jakub Adamski argues it may originate in Peter Parler’s Prague cathedral workshop and depict a canopy tomb for Pope Innocent VI, offering evidence of artistic exchange between Bohemia and Avignon.
