Tots & Child Friendly Bonfire Night at The Hive

A gentle, no-fireworks bonfire night for young children and families at The Hive outdoor play space, with magic shows, marshmallow toasting and hot chocolate.

This early-evening event offers a quiet alternative to traditional bonfire night, with no fireworks or loud rides, making it suitable for little ones' first bonfire and for visitors with sensory sensitivities. Children receive hot chocolate and a sand animal gift on arrival, and can enjoy wild play and sensory areas, magic shows, balloon animals, mini bonfire making and unlimited marshmallow toasting around an eco-friendly bonfire. An education team gives a fire-safety talk before the bonfire is lit, and the café serves bonfire favourites with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The event runs for two hours and is outdoors, so warm waterproof clothing is recommended.
