Agatha Underground
About
A specialist guided cave tour at Kents Cavern exploring the real-life inspiration for Hampsley Cavern in Agatha Christie's The Man in the Brown Suit, followed by a Devonshire cream tea.
Created in celebration of the International Agatha Christie Festival, this specialist tour takes visitors through the chambers that inspired Hampsley Cavern in The Man in the Brown Suit, exploring how the caves may have sparked Agatha Christie's fascination with archaeology and mystery. The guided tour lasts approximately an hour, with time for questions, and is followed by a traditional Devonshire cream tea (with raspberry jam) served in the Firestone Kitchen. Visitors should arrive 15 minutes before their tour and allow up to two hours on site.
