On a Different Scale

Second session of the Carlo Ginzburg Reading Group, discussing the historian's scholarship on microhistory and scale.

This is the second of four meetings of the Carlo Ginzburg Reading Group, held across Michaelmas 2026 and Hilary 2027. The session, titled 'On a Different Scale', continues a discussion of Ginzburg's most representative writings, following an opening session on his seminal works on microhistory. Participants engage critically with the historian's analytical categories and civic engagement; those interested in joining are asked to contact the organisers by email.
