About
A one-day festive willow weaving workshop with Tess Wakeling, making a willow platter and a Scandi star for Christmas.
A one-day willow weaving workshop in which participants make a woven platter for the table and a Scandinavian-style willow star, choosing between natural barked and stripped willow and finishing with raffia or coloured ribbon. Tess Wakeling, an experienced basketry teacher, guides the group through both pieces, which can be kept or given as gifts. The workshop takes place in the Setting Gallery, with the on-site cafe available for lunch and refreshments.
