Michael Zandl’s circus performance turns eating into a surreal ritual about desire, need and consumption.

Using acrobatics and object manipulation, the performance follows eating as it becomes a mechanical ritual and examines how collective consumption can be shaped by desire. The work is Zandl’s directorial debut and is presented with MimeLondon. It is for ages 8 and over; the show contains unusual objects and substances and has no interval.
