Launch of Uprooted Lives

A free public launch of Uprooted Lives, a collection of portraits of refugees who rebuilt their lives in Britain.

The book draws on obituaries of principally German-speaking Jewish refugees and Holocaust survivors, combining well-known and less familiar life histories. People discussed in the book are subjects, not an asserted live bill. The official listing provides an external booking link and explicitly requires booking for security.
