Distinctively Staffordshire – Ray Johnson Film Archive

A free drop-in matinee of archive films from the Staffordshire Film Archive tracing Staffordshire's industrial heritage, north and south.

A free drop-in matinee screening of archive film footage from the Staffordshire Film Archive exploring Staffordshire's industrial and social history. The programme contrasts the north of the county — pottery, coal, steel and silk-making in the Moorlands — with the south, from salt and shoe-making in Stafford to chain-making, including chains made for the Titanic. Part of MAC Community days, presented in partnership with Able Stoke, North Staffs Pensioners' Convention and Staffordshire Sight Loss.
