The Black History of Comedy! PLUS African Odysseys @BFI update

An interactive presentation explores how comedians have used history from the 1960s to today, followed by an update on African Odysseys @BFI.

The session uses examples of historical comedy to consider how humour has addressed racism and international struggles for racial equality. It is described as an interactive, educational evening, followed by an update about the African Odysseys film programme and its campaign at the BFI. The organiser warns that the presentation includes some swearing and adult humour. No presenter or facilitator is named in the current listing.
