Council of All Beings
About
A day-long workshop in the woods at Panshanger Park using ritual, mask making and time in nature to speak on behalf of other life-forms.
The Council of All Beings is a communal, day-long workshop held in the woods at Panshanger Park in which participants speak on behalf of other life-forms. The day combines ritual, time alone in nature, mask making, movement and speaking, with time to reflect on the life-form each participant chooses to represent. It ends with the group gathering in Council around the fire to speak about the threats faced by life on earth. Organisers describe the experience as powerful, sometimes grave and sometimes light-hearted, with each Council shaped by those who attend.
