Light the Way
About
A family lantern walk raises funds for autistic people and their families, following an accessible five-kilometre looped route through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Participants can bring a lantern or make one at an optional separately booked crafting session before the walk. The 5 km route is described as four 1.25 km loops and is wheelchair and pushchair friendly; a quiet area and disabled toilets are available in the event village. Registration opens at 16:15, followed by a briefing and group departures between 17:00 and 17:30. The published event start is 17:00; the exact village or meeting point and finish time are not stated. Children must be accompanied by an adult, with no more than two children per supervising adult.
