Create Art Ministry; Creative Connections Building Faith, ‘Let it Go’ 1 Peter 5:7
About
A day retreat at Holland House led by Kay Mason using prayer, mindfulness and art to explore the theme 'Let It Go' from 1 Peter 5:7.
Kay Mason, founder of Create Church and Create Art Ministry, leads a small-group day retreat on the theme 'Let It Go', based on 1 Peter 5:7. Through Christian mindfulness, gentle relaxation, prayer and creativity, participants explore laying down worries and receiving God's peace, with a variety of art materials to enjoy and a personal scrapbook to keep as a creative journal. No artistic ability is needed, and after lunch attendees can continue creating, enjoy the gardens or simply rest. The day runs 10am–4pm and includes a two-course lunch and refreshments.
