About

A live satellite screening of The Royal Ballet's production of Swan Lake, shown at Pavilions Teignmouth.

This is a live cinema relay of The Royal Ballet performing Swan Lake from the Royal Opera House. Liam Scarlett's production pairs Tchaikovsky's score with John Macfarlane's designs, telling the story of Princess Odette, cursed to be a swan by the sorcerer Von Rothbart, and Prince Siegfried's pledge of eternal love. The performance runs approximately 3 hours 25 minutes with two intervals; the cast is yet to be confirmed.
