About

A three-session course in selecting, shaping, pruning and caring for small Scots pine or silver birch bonsai trees.

Bonsai enthusiasts Barre and Peter lead three sessions: an introductory talk and selection walk on 1 November 2026; harvesting and potting on 28 February 2027; and further care advice on 13 June 2027. Participants must commit to all three sessions. The course starts with a talk and slideshow in the Activity Room before going onto the heath.
