Richard Marshall – Exhibition of Pastels
About
A one-day exhibition at Rustington Museum of pastel, oil and gouache works by Sussex-based artist Richard Marshall, featuring landscapes, seascapes and still lifes.
Rustington Museum presents a single-day display of pastels by Sussex artist Richard Marshall, a Pastel Society member since 1983. His chalk and oil pastels, often combined with watercolour, gouache and oil paint, depict landscapes, seascapes and still lifes, layered to build rich colour and texture. Works on show include subjects such as Chichester Cathedral, boats at Birdham and Littlehampton, Arundel Park in winter and Grand Canyon scenes, alongside biographical notes on his training and method.
