Diane Burstein presents an illustrated indoor talk about Smithfield’s layered history, from Charterhouse Square and the Victorian meat market to churches, London’s oldest hospital on its original site, former execution grounds and the Old Bailey. Wilderness Kitchen at Hotel Indigo Clerkenwell hosts the talk. An optional two-course Sunday roast can be booked before or after the event.
