Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of realworld.events (the "service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the service is
realworld.events is a free guide to events in London. It collects listings from venues, promoters and public sources, and recommends events to you based on what you rate and save. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
Listings can be wrong
Event details (dates, times, prices, venues, availability) come from third parties and are gathered automatically. They may be incomplete, out of date or incorrect, and events may change or be cancelled without us knowing. Always check with the organiser or ticket seller before you travel or pay. We are not the organiser or seller of any event and are not responsible for the event itself, tickets, refunds or what happens there.
Your account
You can use the service anonymously, sign in with Google, or sign in with a link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping your device, Google account and email account secure. We may suspend or delete accounts or visitor data that break these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used to abuse the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: use automated tools to rate, save, scrape or bulk-download content; attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service; or use it for anything unlawful. Ratings should reflect your own taste; coordinated or scripted rating distorts recommendations for everyone and will be removed.
Content and links
Event descriptions, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are shown to help you find events. Links to ticket sellers and venue sites take you to third-party sites with their own terms. The service's own design, code and compiled data remain ours.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and may change, pause or stop at any time. We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version and continued use after a change means you accept it.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or reliance on its listings, including missed events, wasted travel or ticket costs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
