Monthly Needlefelt Group

A monthly needlefelting group meeting on the first Saturday, making themed felted creations over a cuppa at the NETPark cafe.

Craft and Create North East CIC runs a two-hour needlefelting session on the first Saturday of each month at The Cafe @ NETPark in Sedgefield. Each month has a different theme — November is a poppies picture, December covers decorations like baubles, March a spring wreath fairy and April a spring curly coated sheep — with Ceri guiding participants through a variety of needlefelting techniques, from 3D animals to landscapes. Attendees can alternatively work on their own projects and enjoy the social side; all materials, instruction and a tea or coffee are included, and sessions are funded with monies from the UK Government.
