Beginners Birding with Mya Bambrick

Join Mya Bambrick for a relaxed two-mile birding walk around Rye Harbour’s wetland reserve, visiting bird hides to identify seasonal waders, ducks, gulls and songbirds by sight and sound.

Mya Bambrick shares practical identification tips and answers questions during circular walks of about 3 km, visiting reserve hides to look for seasonal birds such as Lapwing, Golden Plover and Stonechat. Binoculars are recommended and some pairs are available to borrow. Participants must be at least 12; ages 12–25 receive a half-price concession, and anyone under 18 must attend with an adult.
