Voices Together: Male Voice Choir Concert

Two male voice choirs, Hamilton Caledonian and Glasgow Male Voice Choir, join forces for a joint concert at Fernhill & Cathkin Parish Church.

The Hamilton Caledonian Bowling Club Male Voice Choir, founded in 1946 and recently returned from performing at the London Welsh Festival of Male Choirs at the Royal Albert Hall, joins forces with the Glasgow Male Voice Choir (formerly the Philharmonic) for a joint concert. The two choirs perform a shared programme celebrating male voice singing, with the Glasgow choir's repertoire spanning traditional Scottish songs, show tunes, spirituals and classical pieces. Conductors are Christopher Barr (Hamilton) and Audrey McKirdy (Glasgow), with accompanists John Taylor and Silviya Mihaylova.
