Sketching in the spaces: A story of steel

Sketch a soldier’s kit arranged from historic weapons and armour in Oxburgh’s collection.

A self-guided, untaught still-life drawing session in the Drawing Room uses weapons and armour from the collection to build a soldier’s kit scene. Basic drawing materials are provided; visitors may bring their own pencils, but charcoal, paint, water and other media are not permitted. Recommended for ages 10+; meet in the Courtyard 10 minutes before the session.
