Half Term Sketching Station in the Painted Hall

A drop-in family sketching station in the Painted Hall during half term, with borrowed sketchbooks, pencils and prompt cards.

During half term, families visiting the Painted Hall can borrow sketchbooks and pencils and sketch their own responses to Thornhill's painted ceiling. Sit-and-sketch prompt cards help children unlock the stories of the hall. The drop-in resources are available throughout Painted Hall opening hours from 24 October to 1 November, on a first-come, first-served basis, and children must be supervised by an adult.
