Turandot on Sydney Harbour (2016)

Opera Australia’s 2016 Handa Opera production of Puccini’s Turandot was recorded live at Sydney Harbour’s Mrs Macquaries Point.

Chen Shi-Zheng directs a staging that draws on Chinese and Western artistic approaches, theatrical acrobatics and traditional Chinese opera. The recording features Dragana Radakovic as Turandot, Riccardo Massi as Calaf and Hyeseoung Kwon as Liù, with Brian Castles-Onion conducting.
