About
Siglo de Oro and Spinacino Consort present a festive early music performance celebrating the traditional twelve days of Christmas.
The performance brings to life the traditional twelve days of Christmas through a lively combination of 17th-century ballads, broadsides, dances, and carols. Vocal ensemble Siglo de Oro combines with instrumentalists from the Spinacino Consort. Traditional melodies from Britain and Ireland are featured alongside music by leading composers of the day, such as William Byrd.
