Period-instrument ensemble Musical & Amicable Society performs Baroque and Classical repertoire with soprano Hannah Davey singing Handel's German Arias.
The Musical & Amicable Society, revived in 2003 by Kate Fawcett and Martin Perkins, is a collective of professional period-instrument specialists performing Baroque and Classical repertoire in formations from small ensembles to full orchestra, with a chamber-music ethos. For this Worcestershire Early Music concert, the group is joined by soprano Hannah Davey, who will sing from a collection of Handel's German Arias. The concert runs from 15:30 to 17:30 at The Old Bishop's Palace, Worcester.
