Simon Whitehouse leads a two-hour walk through places associated with Samuel Pepys and the upheavals of Restoration London. The route begins at Tower Hill, considers Pepys’s life, church and contemporaries, and ends at the City’s oldest wine house, where visitors can see a cellar entrance associated with a smugglers’ tunnel.
