Doc N' Roll: Punk Brighton + Q&A

A Doc N' Roll screening of the documentary Punk Brighton about the city's punk scene, followed by a Q&A with director Kevin Wright.

Punk Brighton documents Brighton's punk movement, centred on The Vault, an underground burial crypt turned legendary gig venue, where bands such as The Piranhas, The Depressions and Peter & The Test Tube Babies built a fiercely communal scene. Built from 15 years of interviews, performances and animation, the film covers the scene's anti-fascism and Rock Against Racism activism, the fight to save Brighton & Hove Albion, and figures including Attrix Records founder Rick Blair and The Piranhas' Bob Grover, with appearances from Fatboy Slim. The 90-minute documentary screens as part of the Doc N' Roll strand and is followed by a Q&A with director Kevin Wright.
