Scrap Fabric Bowls, Baskets, Mats and Coasters Workshop
About
A hands-on hand-sewing workshop at Dovecot Studios teaching participants to turn fabric scraps, yarn and thread into bowls, baskets, mats and coasters.
This workshop teaches a hand-sewing technique for transforming scraps from sewing, knitting and crafting into hand-crafted bowls, baskets, mats and coasters, suitable for storing projects or gifting. Participants work with a wide choice of fabrics, threads and rope, and are encouraged to bring their own fabric scraps or clothing and yarn or thread to use. All materials are provided, and the session is described as mindful, relaxing and social. It is suitable for anyone with some experience of basic hand-sewing.
